Rev. Fr. Gerald Akata

Rev. Fr. Gerald Ignatius Akata has been a Roman Catholic priest since 1994. He has proudly served the Roman Catholic Church faithfully as a priest for the past twenty-eight (28) years, where followers of our Lord Jesus Christ have enjoyed his love and pastoral services. With strong leadership devotion to the children, youth and adults alike, he works tirelessly for the growth and development of every young person he meets. A hands-on priest, Father Akata teaches by doing and creatively inspires young people along the way, leading the way. He understands the needs of today’s children, and youth as well. He brings new program ideas that are both fun, creative and challenging. He is strongly committed to the Christian values, continually preaching love, faith, hope, gratitude, unity, peace, respect, and integrity in all human relationships. He loves teaching, reading, watching soccer, listening to music and telling creative stories. He promotes opportunities for everyone to grow in the human environment.
